Bluff-Bassin Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Put in at spring creek for about 3 hours yesterday 10 to 1. Caught two keepers. 16" spot on an a-rig in about 20ft and a keeper LM on the ned, it was the first fish I have ever caught using the highly talked about rig. Ironically was just about to give up on the ned and head home and literally said to myself "last cast", never felt the bite just the weight as I was trying to move it along. It was around 15fow on a transition spot. Water temps between 42-43 on the main lake. Seth 1
Ham Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Thank you for the update on the water temp. It should really warm up this week with the warmer over night temps. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

dtrs5kprs Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 IT would be IF he had felt the bite. I told you to quit trying to feel them... . Ham 1
Guest Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 80% of the Ned fish I'm catching right now, are of the "no feel variety"
Ham Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 I told you to quit trying to feel them... . Look, I've explained this already. I'm addicted to the feel of that bite. The thump or little tick or whatever you want to call it. That feeling is why I fish. That split second between that feeling and the hookset is the best. grizwilson 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

I use a mh spinning rod for trds...and fish them on a tighter string to feel the take , the split second. when you have zero slack in your line and a fish picks up a dead sticked trd , that split second Ham 1
