I'm impressed!!!! I wish I could join you guys on Saturday, but I'll be returning from Lake Guntersville. Can't wait to see who has bragging rights. I see the early line has Babler at 5/2 and Champ at 2/1. Should be lots of fun for everyone. Maybe have to make it a annual event. Thanks again 5bites for all your help. Ken

Don't we all feel sorry for this guy!?

Those cranks have potential!

That's a nice way of saying they'd be good if someone that knew what they were doing painted them lol.

5bites,

Those aren't pre-rap DT's. They won't work. Everyone knows that.

Nothing pre rap works. Warts, chug bugs, tungsten weights, drop shots...

Those are risto raps. They've got a trick up there sleeve though besides the paint. I'm just getting in to this bait tinkering stuff though. So there's lots more tricks to learn.

I've seen Risto's that are custom weighted by a guy I forget the name I believe up north. Last name was Johnson if I recall but not sure. Anyhow if you have one he has "tinkered with" it goes from a $7 bait to about $30 or $40. I've also be playing with Redfin's as of late and tinkering. Took 4 that didn't work and made them with different size bills, angles and weighted. 2 of them were a success while one was a flop. Will post some pics maybe this weekend of them.

nice looking baits 5bites,risto raps are great cranks, I can hardly wait for Spring, I have to paint outside so the weather has to be "painter friendly'

I painted a few WW in the old V38 pattern

I take it you're using lacquer?

Nothing beats the sound of frogs after winter.
