Haha not after the day I had today you guys would want me out of your boat. Caught around 7 or 8 fish today between my dad and I with maybe 3 keepers. Fished all day in the downpour. Pretty miserable out. Had quite a few come strike and misses on the stick bait. Seemed liked they were trying to kill it rather than eat it. Wish I could make it down guys and visit with all of you. Family is down here so I can't make it. I will definitely plan on it next time. Good luck guys and catch some biggun's.

did you try working the bait faster?

, that happened to me on Wed.I could see them come up during the pause near the boat and just nip at my jb or I could barely feel them lightly bite it, or just knock the the crap out of it w/o getting a hook like their mouths were shut , and I wasn't getting good hook ups, switched to a no pause, constant fast twitch retrieve like you see KVD doing all the time, and they would just inhale it ! Fish were hot, they wanted to chase.

we would be amazed at how many bites we actually get on a sticker that we never feel or see

The fast twitch retrieve you referenced is my favorite way to fish a susp jerkbait.

The pause is nano seconds, just long enough to take up line.

Good to know they're biting that aggressively.
