After 32 years of working in a bait shop, the one question I hear the most is, "What Are They Biting On?" You can imagine it gets tiresome answering it with the same answers, pretty much.

'Tis the season on fishing forums - when that question is asked the most.

I've been seeing it asked here quite a bit lately and I have to commend the members here for giving awesome answers!!!!

Me? I want to tell them to read a little before asking--because in most cases it's already been recently answered/talked about on this forum.

I did a simple search on "Bank Fishing Table Rock" the other day and came up with a few good topics that covered the subject. If I had time, I could write an article using the info from topics on subjects like Bank Fishing and post it where people could find it easily... but I don't have time. So I pinned the topic--that's hopefully the next best thing.

Again, I want to say how much I appreciate everyone who offers incredible fishing information here on the forum. And I encourage you, if you're not a poster and have wisdom to share, please post!

BTW, I installed an app yesterday. You'll see the info at the bottom of the index page here on the forum. Kinda gives you an idea how many are using the forum in a day. Very cool.

Funny thing about the forum. Lots of lurkers.

Post a report and then go watch that area over the next few days. People are on your spot like flies on a cow's behind. Everyone wants the short results and spoils withouth the work. Natural tendancy for people in general but today's society, even more so.

I've learned so much here from being active and learning on my own than I have buying "magic baits" that will increase my chances of catching fish.

What bait to use is not as important as the technique and presentation. Which is where this forum shines. Lots of info shared by many here. Not just occasionally posting reports only or a hot bait.

Which is why I frequent here so much. Great group of folks and I've met personally. My wife jokes all the time, "How'd you meet this guy? On the Internet again?"

:-)

So lurkers.....post questions and learn as much as what to use. Only way to learn is trial and TONS of error. I've got extra "error" if anyone needs extra. Just sayin'...I'll share. Really.

I found him.

I'm wondering how he got in... I would not have validated him with an email like that.

Strange.

Wow -- 843 members on here today. No telling how many guests are here at any one time.

If I may, I'd just like to tell each and every one of you/them that...they're bitin' on the Ned rig.

You're welcome.

I can always tell if my customers frequent this board, by what's rigged on their rods and/or laying in the floor of their boats.

I have yet to work on a boat with an official OAF sticker though.
