When I went on the conservation web site and checked on how many poles I can fish with this is what I got. It said 3 poles and every pole after that I have to have my name and address on them and also can not exceed 33 hooks. I talked to a few other anglers and they said you cant spider rig in mo. None of this makes sense to me. Sorry about the confusion im new here and thanks for any feed back

You can only use 3 "attended" poles ( sport fishing )... You can set poles with up to 3 hooks , up to a total of 33 hooks but they will be treated like a "trout line"..I.E. labled..

It is confusing !!!!

I've talked with 3 game wardens about this. All have told me you are fine to troll more than 3 rods, just label them. The problem they mostly deal with is the 10 guys on the shore all with poles "just watching them" for the one guy with the license. As for the 3 hooks thing above, that makes crank baits illegal to drag. Dont think that's quite right. There's more to it than that. Just my .02

the three hook ordinance is pretty confusing it pertains mostly to Arigs. i crank bait is considered one hook the way i read the thing. i'll see if i can dig up what i read about it and post the link on here.
