Members kazoobass Posted April 7, 2015 Members Posted April 7, 2015 All my a rigs are 5 wire. What do I do with the other two? Tried cutting the hooks off a jig but dont have good pliers. Any other ideas? Just leave them bare? Not sure if I brought extra blades or not.
Alex Heitman Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Use a hitch hiker . Like a little spring and use them as dummies on top 2 wires

dwiebenga Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 put willow leaf spinnerbait blades on the extra arms to add flash and vibration
dtrs5kprs Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Can also break off a straight shank worm hook and use a little glue. Just work it back and forth until it surrenders.
Members kazoobass Posted April 7, 2015 Author Members Posted April 7, 2015 I thought about that but I only have good hooks. The few light wire hooks I have I can't really spare

Make a loop at one end to attach to the arm and skewer whatever bait you want on the straightened out end. Should work. Could probably write a book on using a metal coat hangers as some sort of MacGyver tool in a pinch. Dewayne French and Champ188 2
