rps Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 When I went down to the marina mid morning on Saturday I found this at the Holiday Island ramp. I will note there were no boats with motor running anywhere in sight. None. Whatever belonged on these trailers were away from the ramp, away from the marina, and away away. The first boat came up nearly 15 minutes later and, predictably, required three tries to seat the boat on the trailer. I left the marina before the second boat returned to its trailer. The once or twice a year meat fishermen without manners are out in full force. This will soon taper off and the once a year "let's go to the lake and do maintenance on the ramp" crowd will show up in May.
J-Doc Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 I see a Nitro and Champion. Looks like bass anglers than meat anglers. Must have been testing boats or something. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!

Tanderson15 Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 It's not meat hunters but inconsiderate jerks.
Feathers and Fins Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 I just have to wonder if there is some law that could get a sheriff to come out cite and tow. I see it happen every-do-often and would be more than happy to make the call. I launch alone and take out alone often and at most Im in and out in no more than 5 minutes. Monte ne ramp when its low maybe 6 minutes stupid tilt the last few feet of it. But as aggravating as the above picture is there is still nothing more aggravating than the Pontoon boat who has to load everything once they back down the ramp and I mean kitchen sink and granny's walker. I timed one last year for giggles 47 minutes blocking one lane. This is one where Rangers really need to walk down ( not sit in truck watching ) and tell them either launch it or pull it out but get off the ramp. grizwilson 1 https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Ham Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 I am telling you that in south Louisiana there would not have been an intact window in their vehicles when they returned to the ramp IF the vehicle had not been pushed into the lake. There is zero tolerance for that crap in Cajun land. I ain't saying its right, I'm just saying that is what would happen. Went through the last paragraph at High Point on Stockton last Saturday.....several times. Tanderson15 Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 I launch by myself also and feel bad if anyone has to wait and F&F is right normally just a 5 min or less.
