Put in at aunts creek this morning and ran up and down the james. Caught fish on cranks and senkos. Tough with the wind. Buddy caught a bass on a crank while I trolled across a cove. Then we decided to troll for a few mins. Found a massive school of spots in about 60 FOW suspended at 25-35 feet. Ended up catching 4 of 4 passes. Not a bad day.

To the guy at the ramp this morning with the messed up trolling motor. Hope you got it fixed up. I think I left my costas on your boat by accident. If you see em message me please. If not they are lost.

Tight lines.

I haven't worn Costas in a few years. Been tinkering around with Typhoons and other brands. Champ188 has stuck with the Costas. We had a couple that needed repairs and I just kept putting it off. However, Champ could see things in the water that I couldn't and when I'd put his Costas on I was always amazed at the difference. Finally sent two pair in to get fixed up. One was under warranty, so it cost a mere $12.95. Now I'm back to Costas only on the water. Boy, what a difference. Sorry yours ended up MIA. Hope you get your new specs in soon.

Your trolling where the guides are sitting and fishing. Had my boat today in 60' lots of times today throwing a 3.8" Kietech.

Guys these fish are sitting way out off these spawning pockets either waiting to move in or post spawn. We had several fish today on the swimbait where the count was at least 20 when they hit it on the fall.

Shut down in 100' of water off these major lake points and then just slowly ease in. When you get in the under 40' range you will see the fish suspended at about 20'. back, back out a full cast with the grub or the swimbait and count it down to the fish and slow roll it back. You may get quite a surprise.

Beck had 38 fish with 20+ keeps today doing just that. We had 7 really fat keeps and lots of other fish.

Good Luck
