Glad you are OK Aggressor. This kind of crap just makes my blood boil. Theft and destruction of property are bad enough. But putting someone's life in danger? They'll get what's coming to them. Karma is a funny thing.

Seriously though guys and gals, we need to watch each other's backs out there. You see something suspicious going on, call 911 or at least get a tag/license number. Increased patrols will help some, but it won't solve the problem. Keep your eyes and ears open. Low-lives like that have a hard time keeping their mouths shut. Gotta brag to their buddies.

As for that axle, I had to replace one a few years back. Trux in Springfield had one very reasonably priced. Would recommend giving them a call.

No they tried to steal my boat trailer tires left lugs by my trailer per sheriff where I was parked had one thread hanging by a thread

Fish, you are correct. No prints will be taken, unless a serious crime has been commited. Its really hard for me to believe that someone removed the lugs at a ramp. Im curious if there were any lugs at the ramp where the trailer was parked. Chances that someone loosened all of them, without actually removing atleast 1 and leaving it on the ground would be slim to nil. Guess all of my years in law enforcement makes me think this way.

Jims body shop quoted 2,700 damage on back of my truck lets all keep close eye out of thieves or crack heads who do not belong at fishing spots. I tell it like it is, stealing tires wth.

So with only one lug nut barely on a single stud you were able to back down the ramp, load the boat, and get How Far before the wheel fell off ?

Sounds like that wheel was one badass Marine too! :)

Things have gotten so much worse over the last few years for the wife and I that we don't go until at least June when the crowds drop off. We are thinking of quitting fishing all together. I also have seen too many arguements and threats over use of the ramps as well. Who was here first, taking too long, etc. You combine that with my health issues...well it just isn't fun anymore.
