Quillback Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Man, we are right in the bulls eye according to the forecasters.
Feathers and Fins Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 They said 3.46 on 4029 a few minutes ago. I think they might be wrong the low's track is just off to our east and the NE part of tropical storms is the wettest generally, I wouldn't be surprised to see 7 to 9 inches when all is said and done for our area based on the current track forecast. Im no rocket scientist but I have survived a few hurricanes lol https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Stump bumper Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 It is moving much slower than I thought, looks like it won't be here until tomorrow, but will hang around to Friday. Will be going over the gates for sure but a day latter than I thought. Looks like they are keeping the generation going at least.
Stump bumper Posted June 19, 2015 Author Posted June 19, 2015 Looks like I was wrong, with all the generators running they might not have to open the flood gates. Looks like we missed the really heavy rain.
JohnF52 Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 I think if they do not open the gates, they will be overtopped by this afternoon. Inflow now is over four times the maximum generation release. White river is just now cresting at Wyman, and War Eagle is yet to crest.

We got pounded somewhere. My creek (Osage) shot up ten feet overnight from 200 cfs to 7000! It was out of the banks this morning and flowing through the woods. Bigfishes1 1
Terrierman Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 I live just North and East of Ozark MO. I dumped about 3 1/2" out of my gauge at 7:30 yesterday evening. It had a shade under 5" in it this morning. My gravel drive has foot deep ruts washed out of it. Got up about 2:00 AM to let the puppy out for a few minutes and would hear water running in the hollow below me. Lots of roads around the house are closed due to high water. Every low spot is covered and lots of places that aren't what you would normally call a low spot. It looked like NE AR got it at least as much in the way of rainfall as we did.
