Again I wasn't asking you too. Ever heard of thinking out loud or general discussion? That's how forums work. I was simply making a statement for the sake of discussion since we are talking about this tournament. I never expected any feedback to sway any changes. Now the dollar comment, come on man lol. I was born at night but not last night.

If you think I for one am bullying you then don't. Again it's discussion. I seriously don't expect any changes based on my input. In fact my point are more directed to the people here year round on this forum. I'd rather spitball ideas and solve the worlds problems with them since they are guys just like me. There are tournaments for everyone almost and I have my preferences and if voicing those twists some poor sensitive saps giblets then I guess that's what happens though it's not my intention.

The fact is and this may or may not come across as an attack, bullying, or however you choose to be the victim in the reply but if you had stations at every ramp it would be the best way possible. If you had scales in every boat it would be the best way possible. If you had people give their best guess it would be the best way possible to run a tournament and if I disagreed I'd be being mean.

It's okay my man, I'm not really that bothered. Just providing answers to your queries.

How can I expect a five bite guy to understand a one bite tourney anyway...

Catch you guys next year. I'll let you get back to spitballing with those on the board year round.

Take care gents and tight lines.

That would make all six crappie in the lake mighty nervous.

Holy Cow my partner got a monster slab (well, monster to me anyways) practice fishing Friday around point 12.

I didn't ask his permission to post his likeness, so I did some "Cropping" (that was almost "punny")

I don't think he's running from the law, but there may be a broken heart or three out there somewhere that doesn't need to know he's in my boat :)

Translation: As much as a fishing tournament, it's a dog-and-pony show to make money for yourselves and good ol' Johnny.

It isn't a destination event for the bass that get hauled out of the river arms and bounced around either by boat or trailer all the way to the far east end of the lake. I assure you, they have no interest in visiting Johnny World. Your tournament has by far more entrants than any other annual event on the lake and hauls fish farther than any other. Even the local Homer Sloan and Shriners derbies have multiple weigh-in locations. But then they are only 10x10 pop-up tent events that raise money for sick kids and other charities, not big commercial bassapalooza productions intended to line the pockets of yourselves and good ol' Johnny.

Champ. I have fished with you and respect you, But you need to pump the breaks You and Donna should have fished it to appreciate it........I promise. A three pounder about any hour would have dang near got your money back. And you would have been casting for a new boat the rest of the tourney. I know you spend a lot mor in entry fees in many your tourneys in hopes of winning $1200 on a successful top 5 finish......and I get that too, I do the same. But you can't compare that to an event like this, the others don't compare. If u think they aren't there there to make a buck promoting their wanna be sponsors you are wrong. Oakley and bass pro are as big as it gets on the rock.

In closing........ Knock off the negativity and appreciate such an event. And fish an event where u have a chance to win a new boat at such a low cost. They don't even offer those odds in Vegas. :)

As far as boat traffic.............this was held "pre- Memorial Day weekend", as it should. That scrutinized bass boat traffic won't hold a candle to what's to come on a week day in the dam area starting next week. Trust me, I'm on the lake a lot.

This thread makes me want to pull the OAF sticker off my truck. Geezus champ? Every tourny you fish is perfect But when guys go out of cape Fair, or some Other small tourny on the lake happens, or if someone wears a jersey you start throwing a fit. The biggest answer in the world is to go to Bull Shoals during the busy season.
