We caught almost all fish off a point in 17-22 feet of water. 1/8th ounce head, light line (our trout rigs) and crawling it on the bottom. Hard to set the hook because they'd drop it so fast. Once the wind laid, we did better feeling and hooking more.

Did catch some on an 1/8th ounce marabou jigs, brown/orange.

No gogs yet... I thought we'd find some.

I had the same trouble, guess I don't have the "Ned Touch" yet. But tomorrow is another day!

Have to work on trying not to feel it. If you try to feel the bait, or the fish, it generally does not go well.

The bait just seemed to get a little heavy or the line would start swimming. I ended up just setting the hook any time it felt or looked just a little different. Found some goggle eyes yesterday, or at least some fish that were similar to goggle eyes.
