COE forecast says it will top out at 917.7 on Friday. That's without any more rain.

I'd like 925 better.

You may like it for the fishing but those of us who live below the dam don't like it at all! After 2011 and seeing how close they came to covering us all with 60 feet of water I don't want to see it over 920!

I certainly don't want there to be flooding on Taneycomo or anywhere else.

Is the carrying capacity on TR so minimal that they can not handle 925?

What is normal pool level on TR? I was thinking it was 916 and that 925 would give you lots of cover to throw surface plugs and obnoxious spinerbaits around. I thought I remembered fishing it at tthat level before and catching a lot of fish. I know we caught a lot of fish, maybe I am not remembering the water level correctly.

We can handle 920, 925, with no problem & no flooding. Above 930 & there will be problems lake wide & down stream. If the USACOE keeps it's eyes & ears open & learned anything ( & I WOULD NOT BET ON THAT ) from the last 2 floods they will release water @ the correct rate starting @ 920 & there will not be any problems for those on TANEYCOMO. If they follow the same pattern they did twice before & don't worry about it & or act till it reaches above 925 then those below the DAM could have a problem. Yes @ or above 925 there is lots of good stuff in the water to target with spinner baits & top water.

925 with Beaver pushing the top of flood pool would be a bad setup. Let's hope it stays around 920. Stuff to throw at, and some extra "uh-oh" storage available.
