Well just so ya know, I 100% flyfish for river Smallies so I haven't used them in moving water but the HDcraw ain't quite big enough for lake O work. I caught a bunch of dinks on them.

The jig heads are the bomb for hula grubbin'. I use them all the time and cherish them. I'm down right stingy with them too. :)

Thanks man, I appreciate the feedback

For the op. I recommend always having at least two rod set ups ready. One for slack water presentations (i.e. fluke, wacky worm); and one for presentations in swift water (jigs, in-line spinners etc.).

Lures are tools not all work in all conditions(jigs being probably the most versatile). Flukes are great in slack or low current (maybe the best), but they are far less effective in heavy current. So if your trying to fish a fluke all day and the fish are in the current pockets your gonna have a tough day. Develop your favorite technique for each type.

Generally heavier lures work better in current as they get down to the strike zone quickly. Crankbaits work well in long riffles with moderate current and in slack or backwater. Spinner baits and jigs are pretty versatile. As you float down the stream pick the set up that suites the water.

Thanks for the report, I appreciate it.

I've given out several and no one has ever pmed me or followed up to let me know how they did with them, so no more free ones except to you, Scott, and Paul

I still have the ones you gave me from the MSA meeting earlier this year, but I keep forgetting to put them in my tackle box. They are sitting on my computer desk not doing me much good. The Dolphin that SB gave me is sitting right besides the craws. :oh-noes:

Mitch, I, like Seth, have them on my desk and keep forgetting to toss them in the boxes before I head out. When you start to sell them, let me know, as I am certainly interested in stocking up on them.

I catch the most fish on tube/ned/grub in brown,brown/purple, or greenpumpkin. Biggest fish always seem to come on a rapala minnow or occasionally the old rebel craw.

Have a dozen of your craws Mitch just have not fished them much, Love the jig heads though. Can fish one for months w/o losing it.

Thanks, jig heads are extremely easy to make but the craws aren't.
