Terrierman Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Malarky, there is a bunch of guys just like me, evidenced by the number of *LIKES* I get every time I think I've pushed my limits around here. Turns out there are zero boundaries on OAF. Who knew? Or...maybe y'all just like watching me hang myself. Its the latter.
Terrierman Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 There are a lot of people on OAF that I am 100% certain that would be better as POTUS than anyone who actually stands a chance of being elected to that position. Ness for sure. Too many others to mention them all by name and why they would be better. But no kidding there are some good - really good - people here on OAF. BilletHead 1

Even the ones we don't get along with. They just happen to be wrong .
ness Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Title says it all folks. Got to spend a long lunch with the elusive Ness today. Great guy but don't tell him that. I think he might have the tendency to get would up, kind of like me sometimes. We even discussed the "Ned rig" but that did not last long as there were way more important things to discuss So this adds to the list of fellows met on this discussion board. I have met liberals, conservatives, some neither of these and just don't seem to care maybe a bit radical with their thoughts. We may not all agree on some things here but we are all have in common fishing, hunting, cooking, gardening, sports, mushrooming etc., etc.. I hope to meet many, many more of you on here and I think everyone should do the same. And on a side note Ness doesn't look near as old as his avatar or age listed on his profile, BilletHead Marty: Nice meeting you face-to-face, finally. I've been witness to so many of your fishing and hunting trips, meals, toured your garden, etc. that you seemed like family already. You sure went above and beyond the call to drive up here to help me get our trip next month in place. BBQ sauce was the icing on the cake (??) . It is much appreciated. I've met a lot of great folks (and some real characters) over the years here, and on the old Conversation Cafe. Some have become good friends. We all live in our little piece of the world, and without OAF, it would sure be a lot smaller. BilletHead 1 John
BilletHead Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 Yes we are like family on here at times although We can be and feel treated like stepchildren here too. Remember we all have fishing in common. I have learned much in here from others so I am quick to share when I can. I am your Minister of Campaign Finance and I will be taking all contributions for your election and dispensing them as I and I alone see fit. How could you have possibly forgotten that already? BilletHead Posted June 18, 2015 Author Posted June 18, 2015 Ness get my vote too. Well he did not tell me the other day if he is left or right. Maybe he straddles the fence? Oh ohhhhh I hope I have not made a buddy that swings both ways? I think he knows where I stand. That did not scare him off Can I get on this money go round too Terrierman? You know we could campaign for him while fishing. Maybe with a guide somewhere? Campaigning could be a tough job but someone has to do it. Ok it is settled send money to Terrierman, BilletHead "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!"
