He said the BACKS, not the mouths.

As far back as you can go in a flowing creek and still have some depth under you. Not pockets or coves, but actual creeks. That is the back.

omega jig bass ----- Brushing is real hard work. fish there awhile and you will find a whole lot of brush pules naturally. Building brush pile does not guarantee success. Even with a good one you got to fish it at the right time.

Another technique that can work in these conditions is to basically flip those junk mats with a big beaver or jig. Find mats that have pushed up against the bank in the backs of creeks, pockets, or even bluff pockets. Some big fish will hide out under those. Grab your heavy flippin stick, a big ole weight, a strong hook, and a pack of these in any dark color and nail a big one!

Last night in the back of my cove/creek there was a ton of baitfish and bass blowing up. Now they dropped the lake and no bait or bass. Are they deeper now?

They probably haven't moved too far. They probably moved to the closest deep water. Find docks or secondary points in 10-15 foot of water that are closest to the back of the cove you saw them feeding in. The bass will move shallow to feed periodically and then drop back to the nearest deep water where they feel most comfortable again.

Sounds like they will dump Truman if they aren't already. I was out Sunday and Monday and the fish I caught were either suspended eating fry or relating to current on points in the lower end; I caught them on crankbaits, jerkbaits, and plastics either suspended chasing fry or relating to current on the points. We still had decent water color at that time off the Osage channel a point or two but that won't last if they open the gates.

Yeah they lowered it quite a bit and will probabley release some from Truman. But quick question about current im on the 33 and if I fish a point I can't tell if there is current while I'm on the lake how do I know if there is current?
