How far up from eagle rock is that bridge by water

It's about 9 miles above the 86 bridge.

Checking it on findlotsize.com it shows as 9 miles. I wouldn't have thought it that far but usually its pretty close. I use findlotsize.com all the time to measure distances up and down the lake. Only down side is you actually have to know where you want to go by looking at a google map view.

Will be arriving on the 4th for a week and was thinking of doing a boat ride from kc to that bridge just to look around.

That's a long boat ride. 45 mi or so.

From Eagle Rock to Holiday Island is almost 6 miles by water. The Beaver Bridge is another 2 or 2 and a half.

From KC, that is a serious run.

Donna and I ran to Holiday Island from KC in a CPA team tournament once. It was super hot summer and we had managed to catch a few in practice in the cooler water up there. Didn't work out in the tournament. Not one of my prouder moments, although I must say that it's cooler riding in the boat half the day than standing in it fishing.

I have nothing but time all week. So the long ride is ok. Maybe do a little fishing along the way.

Just watch out for the morons, buddy. They are out in excessive force this time of year.
