Bass Enforcer Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Hey guys and gals. I just wanted to make a quick post regarding humminbirds customer relations. If you Remember a while back I asked if anyone else has suffered water leakage in their unit. My console unit is an 859 ci HD di and it got water in it. It cost me 12 dollars to send it in. They replaced it at no cost to me and even sent me a cover with it. Thank god because I had lost mine. Again they did all of this at no cost to me. Thoroughly impressed. That being said...thank you humminbird. Good luck to all who are getting to enjoy the lake. Have fun and "watch your six" magicwormman 1
Sore Thumbs Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Nice to hear good customer service still exists. That's becoming the way of the Dodo.
Members InPiney Posted July 14, 2015 Members Posted July 14, 2015 Hey Bass Enforcer were yours totally kaputt? I have two that act up, seems like the control buttons get "sticky" and won't operate. I've noticed this when its been wet with either rain or just high humidity. In fact one time my screen dimmer wouldn't work and that was on a pitch black night which made for an interesting evening. Thanks for the info. johnboy2bfishin 1
Bass Enforcer Posted July 15, 2015 Author Posted July 15, 2015 Yes completely out. At first it was not. The screen would flicker. The power button wasn't working. At first when I would plug the power cord in it would automatically turn on. It quit doing that and wouldn't even turn on. InPiney 1
