5bites Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Thanks Bill. I look forward to getting down there. It's been since July! Grand has consumed my time since then.
Bill Babler Posted September 16, 2015 Author Posted September 16, 2015 Well, the bully smallies were restricted to the dam area but someone transplanted them up river (won't name names) and they beat up all the wimpy largies and evicted them from their homes. The LM's are probably somewhere in the middle of the lake holding a cardboard sign and pushing a shopping cart with their belongings on a creek channel corner. Poor things. Now that's funny, I don't care who you are. On another note, the LM bite is really off. I been jawing with good fishermen that are fishing everyday and none of them are catching LM. I tried my rear off the other day and stumbled onto a Big Jaw pattern. Just as good. Carry On. OldMillRoad 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
fisherofmen11 Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Can I ask a dumb question? Where is the best and closest place to put in from Northwest Arkansas? I have only fished Tablerock once and it was from Branson or Moonshine beach by the darn. I cannot drive that far for a day trip.

Big M is 49 miles from my house in Bella Vista, Eagle Rock may be a mile or two closer. Both are good launches with courtesy docks. fisherofmen11 1

That's okay, Mr. Smarty Pants. I'm gonna be at the Old 86 ramp in about 7 hours and I'm heading straight for your dock, drone dogs or not. So there. OldMillRoad, abkeenan, 176champion and 1 other 4

So there. Go for it. I actually fished our cove when we were down there (which I don't do very often) and didn't even get a bite. Also, I wouldn't worry about the drone dogs......I have something special for Hawgs fans in sparkly Rangers. All I can say is you better keep your eyes peeled and Donna better be guarding your 6 out the back. When you least expect it Champ......when you least expect it. Champ188 and wdberkley 2
