Members Fishin4Fun Posted October 11, 2015 Members Posted October 11, 2015 Had a great day of fishing yesterday in the MO-Yak Classic Championship on Table Rock. I took 3rd place and won Big Bass with a 19.75" large mouth caught on a perch colored Whopper Plopper. I also caught an 18.5" smallie on a PB&J Ned rig. All the rest of my fish were shorter and all came on the Ned rig. Lost another beauty on the Whopper Plopper too. It hit it 3 times, but I was a little to fast on my reaction and missed it all 3 times. BUMMER! Most of the fish came on chunk rock on secondary points and in the backs of coves. If you can find them chasing shad, that is the ticket. They were anywhere from 1 foot of water to about 15 feet of water. Great time to be out on the lake! Here are some pictures I took. magicwormman and Flysmallie 2 Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after. -Henry David Thoreau ForwardMotion Designs Where Your Passions and Dreams Come To Life Online http://ForwardMotionDesigns.com

Moswimb8slinger Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Phil, we stock the Hog Trough at Ozarks Extreme Outdoors. They are quickly becoming the "standard" board amongst kayak fishing tournaments.
wareaglecamo Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 F4F . . . nice pics and great job "catching" . . . I do miss my Hobie Pro Angler 14 that I sold a few years ago . . . I do believe the "stealth" aspect of the kayak was, at times, a definite advantage
Members Fishin4Fun Posted October 13, 2015 Author Members Posted October 13, 2015 Thank you all! It was a great day. Phil, it is a Hog Trough that I bought at Ozark Extreme Outdoors. Dave, the Ned heads have been working great! That nice smallie was caught on one with PB&J. I'm about due to order some more. Highly recommend these to anyone wanting to fish the Ned rig. All I can say is I am ready to get back out there with this beautiful weather and the great fishing that is out on the lake right now. magicwormman 1 Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after. -Henry David Thoreau ForwardMotion Designs Where Your Passions and Dreams Come To Life Online http://ForwardMotionDesigns.com
