Got out Sat. afternoon fished for couple hours caught 1 keeper and several shorts all on tube fish were 10 to 15 ft water temp 68 fish Sun morning pretty much the same did catch a couple fish on spook not very many boats out either day

A gitzit champ, lot of guys call them tube baits. I used to slay em on it. Kinda like the hula grub for me also weird how stop using certain baits that have been successful.

Fat Gitzit - Those may have been the original tube bait.  Don't know though.  How long ago were they introduced.  Haven't fish one in years.  Yeah, certain excellent baits get lost in the fishing tackle shuffle.  I hear a lot of folks fishing tubes successfully though.  May have to dig some out.
