Sprint21fter Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 If Grand has them is the water clarity due to the silt then 3-4 ft over there. Typically, the water clarity gets better, at Bull easily see 20plus feet or better.
Rob P Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Last year I had a small outboard on an aluminum boat we left in the water all summer. When I took it out of the water the intakes were smothered in zebra mussels. A ski boat with an I/O that sat in the same dock all summer had none. I'm investing in a lift for the coming year.
Fish24/7 Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 went to a couple places where I saw zebras in Nov. last year. the area in spring creek was free and clear, not a single zebra anywhere another place was just up the lake from spring creek toward Theo., and there were 0 . not 1 empty shell, like they were never even there Rob P 1
Ham Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 The Zebra thing is just weird. Fished out of Tucker Hollow yesterday. The ramp area smells awful from 1000's uprom 1000's of decaying ZM's. Some of the creeks and lined with them and all the shore line brush is coated, but some of the creeks are clear. Some of the creeks are thick with ZM's at the front and clean as a whistle in the back. No ryhme or reason that I could figure out. I think we broke off about 6 times because of ZM's and had to retie a lot of other times with our lines shredded. You guys that like to grind Warts on BSL are going to love ZM's. Lol. You'll get the bait back MOST of the time I guess. Unless your line is damaged, but intact until you load on a big fish. JRay 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future.
