Members capndan Posted November 5, 2015 Members Posted November 5, 2015 Was fishing Aunts Creek Sunday and when I got home on Joe Bald (thank the good Lord I live close) someone had removed my pin that holds my steel bar in place for my breakaway tounge. Luckily the bar had not moved. However this is the second time this has happened at Aunts Creek. Last time my bar was a half inch form disengaging and that would have spelled disaster! What is wrong with people! So now I am going to remove the pin every time I go out and put it back in again. I will put the pin on my drivers seat so I wont forget to put it in myself. Also I am positive that I put the pin in place because of the system I use. Meant to post this right away but was busy cleaning crappie and forgot! One of them was a 15 inch bruiser that weighed 1-12. Better check things out at Aunts now right in the heart of civilization pretty sad huh? Hey Ken we had an offer on our house and it was a joke!
brother dave Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 I had a hitch pin cine you missing while fishing beaver creek one year. We were able to pick up the trailer tongue and reset the Jack to make repairs. I shop at the outdoor grocery store
Members BearFisher10 Posted November 5, 2015 Members Posted November 5, 2015 Some people are just ruthless and this isn't the first time I've heard this about that ramp specifically and at Table Rock itself. I try to launch at places with higher activity especially from now until the spring so I don't have to worry as much about someone messing with my truck/trailer. The other thing I do is use a locking hitch pin all the time and a locking trailer pin when I feel it's necessary. I'm OCD about my things and try to take care of them so I figure it's better to take precaution than assume the best in people. shark bait 1
magicwormman Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 They are some sick people in our world! Even in the bible belt there are some rotten apples, who just don't get it. Sorry to hear about your low ball offer Dan.

Not trying to pick on you Magicwormman but statements like these always crack me up. Going to church every Sunday does not automatically make someone a good person. Some of the biggest turds in society can be found carrying a bible. Hammer time, shark bait and riverrat 3

Hammer time Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 It's really crazy what some people will do! This spring someone stole my trailer liscense plate on a busy Saturday at Cape Fair in broad daylight. Go figure?
Bill Babler Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Now I'm going to have to start caring a spare tongue pin. Figures. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
