I have a question about the catch and release. Never been down for it and was wondering what all I needed. Do I just need trout on my fishing license? Or is there a daily tag I need to enter the park? Headed down tomorrow and would like some info! Thanks in advance

If I remember correctly, you will need the tag and a regular fishing license. I don't think you need the trout stamp, but I could be wrong. Parking was normally free but you still have to pay for the tag.

Fished there today. First time in decades. Not too crowded. Caught a lot of trout and had a good time. Best flies for me were a black fur ant and a soft-hackle peacock. All flies worked better on a 6X tippet. Gave me a chance to reestablish my 6X touch.

All you need is a trout stamp, and of course, a fishing licenses, unless you're an old fart like me. I haven't had to buy a hunting or fishing license for a few years.

A buddy and myself got down there today for about 5 hours. He is new to trout fishing so i figured it would be an interesting day none the less with breaking off thinking he's bass fishing! But anyways we had a great day landing around 40 fish between the both of us and probably as many misses as well. We caught all fish on Miracle Flys in Pink, Peach and Blue colors. Also did very well on a Mega Worm! There was a handful of people fishing but wasn't crowded. I noticed quite a bit of people using Rooster Tails and Little Cleo's on spinning gear doing well too. Anyways thats all i got.

Thanks.  Never heard them called miracle flies before.
