I used Plasti Dip sprayed on with flake on the back while still wet.

Green Pumpkin, Red stripes, orange belly with green flake

Electric Baby poop, chestnut brown back & orange belly with green flake

This was my 1st time painting in 8 months. Feels good

Hey TFR,

Now that you've had a little time with the Crawlers in the water, how do the crawlers compare to old standyby WW's? I fish warts so seldom tthat I have restrainted myself from buying any crawlers.

Dave, the PD has to be sprayed on in 2 coats. If I was dipping the baits, it's just one dip. According to Nathan at TU.  It's a really nice finish & much faster than epoxy.

Ham,

theyre much different, the RK runs deeper, weighs more & can handle 12-15lb test, plus they don't need tuning. I actually throw them on an Eakins jig special that's MH. They're just a well designed bait. Plus they don't need to be repainted. Mike did a good job with the colors. I just have my pet colors that I decided to spray on them, plus I get really bored during the holidays & will start painting all kinds of stuff.

Orange bellied lures are hugely popular on Toledo Bend. It might just be a local fishing urban legend on Toledo Bend, but it sure impacts lure sales.
