As far as quality and quantity, today has been about as good as I've done in a long time this year.  Probably had a couple of days in March that were like today.

Weather was nice, and calm for the morning.  Water temp was 49-50.  Started out away from docks on some sunken brush.   Nothing! Did that for about 15 minutes, went to the closest dock and shot a 16oz Baby shad and pulled out a nice 11 inch fish.  Never looked back after that.  Fish were pretty aggressive,  lots of 10" fish, but more 11 inchers.  Most were white crappie, only a handful of black crappie.

They were hitting about 8-9' deep.  Wound up with 5 or 6 over 12".  And 3 over 13".

Thank god for November and December to salvage what I thought was a spotty crappie season.

I fished that area today but I was looking for whites. Looks like I was chasing the wrong fish. Good job Wrench

I am doing all my crappie fishing in a spot 10x 28. I got two keepers this afternoon about 2pm got one yesterday that was one of the biggest I have gotten in awhile. Was real close to 17". Was over a inch thick. These fish I catch in my stall are usually in thereto feed.never more than a couple ft deep. As a rule. I have been spending most of my fishing time in my yard trying to learn to cast with my right arm.

They bit pretty well below Bagnell Saturday as well. The bite died off by 10am though and then it got tough so we switched over to bass and caught a bunch of spotted bass.
