That was a fun hunt Chief!  Thank you for introducing me to a gentleman that was and still is one of the key figures that has devoted his life to conservation in Missouri.  David was a pleasure to hunt with and full of great stories.

I don't think a jet prop would fare well in that environment, I'm thinking a Go-Devil prop.

I can't imagine a better swamp boat than a Mud Buddy.

His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974

It was my pleasure. Though it was two years in the making, it won't be that long before we all do it again! Shall I book you for next year?

He touched a little on the work he did on Baffin Island. I'll get him to go deeper into that next time. There is really fascinating stuff to hear! And don't shy away from any questions you may have. There is nothing more that he loves to share and talk about than waterfowl! And funny stories!
