Finesse probably means different things in different parts of the country. Deep weedline fishing is a major summertime locational pattern in our northern tier natural lakes. 8# test is as low as I can go with any confidence that I'll have a chance of getting a good fish out of the deep veggies especially cabbage and coontail. Doubly so if the lake unfortunately has zebes.

Guess we have been hard on our ja Sven friends lately. Will you get a crack at TR this spring?

Lol. No problem Dave. We're a hardy breed. We'll be down for March and April. Counting the days...

How 'bout you?

This is a great technique for bed fishing and just sight fishing to cruising fish. A great little creek bait as well. The Missile Baits Fuse 4.4 is a great bait for this. I've just always used a dry wall screw, but I may need to give Fish24/7's design a try. Caught some nice fish on it...

Planning to. We'd be nicer if you boys could talk right. Well, maybe not to Zona and Mercer.

I'm working on it. I'm expecting my Rosetta Stone Missourah to show up any day now.

Well, that's a "-uh", and seems to be specific to certain areas of the state. Good start though.

Nice article, as are all of Ned's writings. Lots of info.
