Really just a guess.  I could be totally wrong. Been quite awhile since I was down by rockaway beach.

I too thought it was strange they were so vague about their shooting location.  Clunn talking about targeting trophy bass that eat rainbows, then didn't catch anything bigger than 2lbs.  I really enjoy the bass pros, but this clunn segment was poorly produced

HardHead you must have been listening with your eyes instead of your ears. Not trying to be a jerk but, if you had  listened to and understood what he was teaching you'd know why he didn't catch a trophy bass. To say it was poorly produced I have to disagree.

Lake Brittany, Im joking.. But trout lakes produce big bass & Clunn is a guru when it comes to Bass fishing & bass behavior. I havent watched it, but I might need to soon. Has anybody watched the Southern Trout Eaters film?

Never been there. There was grass where he was fishing.

Used to be some grass on the lower end, unless all the high water years have scoured it out.

It was built up to be a trophy bass fishery. I figured he would catch a big one but we all know that rarely happens. I just wonder why he is so vague about the locale? Most of the time they tell you. Maybe he knows some local guides and wanted to do the show but not give up where it is. I'm sure there is a reasonable answer.

The segment with clunn was advertised as targeting bass in trout lakes.  All clunn really talked about was changing his stratagy from targeting 2lbers bc of the 15 limit bag to going for 5 big bites/day.  The only real info I took away on bass in trout lakes was they tend to be resident bass, not roamers.  The segment left me unsatisfied.

jmo.  But opinions and aholes - everyone's got em.

I've caught quite a few bass on taneycomo over the years, nothing bigger than 3lbs.  I love trout fishing, but if I knew biggens are prevalent in taneycomo that bait aster would be in my hands a lot more
