Looks like our days are getting almost 2 minutes more sunlight per day.

I can hardly wait.

Never caught a walleye. I don't go out of my way to target them but I know they can be had on bass lures. I'll normally catch a few crappie through the year while I'm out chasing smallmouth.

Vernal Equinox is March 19 .  A day for me to celebrate as well as fish .

Not that I stop fishing at any point but an extra reason to go never hurts .

Largemouth are a fish that you sometimes catch while fishing for crappie or walleye, or occasionally creek fishing for gogglers and smallies.  Sort of like drum, edible but you don't want anyone to know you did it.
