NED RIG Questions

Yeah, the first time with a Z after years of biting regular plastic baits to adjust the length, I didnt have a knife with me, and it took quite a put of chewing and tugging to gnaw it into two pieces, and it tasted truly awful.

Ham...there does seem to be something screwy with the search function. First time I've tried it since the site tweaks.

I've had great luck sometimes and zero success at others. It seems random, but maybe I just forget my meds some days.

I tried it on a phone and tablet. Hard to imagine "Ned rig" yielding zero results, with a variety of permutations in the search criteria. Will try it on a PC.

There are a bunch. Winter thru June of 2014, and again last year, roughly the same time frame. There is some old, old stuff going back to 2011-12 too. The YouTube stuff is good. Don's videos are often more about fun and catching fish, I tried to make a few that focus on how to aspects of the little rig.

I'll try to check with Phil to see if we can figure out why "Ned Rig" won't search. Pretty sure there is more than "zero" info about it posted .

Some great advice on here I won't mention again.  Only thing I might add as primarily a river angler for bass these days, is the 1/8oz heads.  The 1/16 gets preached about the most it seems, and on a lake that probably the best, but on the rivers the 1/8oz has helped me a lot.   Last weekend I was actually pitching it like a jig around some structure and that 1/8 got it down there like I needed.   Mainly though just fishing it in current that extra weight makes all the difference for me!

What LRF said, I've even gone to a 3/16oz in super heavy current. Kinda like the current discharged from a dam or spillway. I've done well swimming the 3/16 cross current in heavy flow. But that's a niche deal, not something that I get to do often.
