Stumbled across a good pattern the other day, coffee table pattern. I think that Strike King coffee scent would have been the deal, but I had none?

It's a shame I just bought a new coffee table or I might be all over that deal. I bought a few of the coffee infused tube baits strike king sells and I ask my wife to smell them because she usually likes the smell of coffee....gagging and sharp punches to the arm ensued....

Great. Now Bigfoot is throwing coffee tables at squirrels.

I can't help but think Jack links has something to do with this.

That's hilarious.  I saw similar stuff on the Niangua in January.  There were sections of fence 20 feet above river level in the trees.  Like squirrel jail.

I wish I had more time more than I wish I had more money.

The few times I floated the lower end of Big River back when it was all smallmouth and no spotted bass, one of the more productive patterns was the appliance pattern.  Refrigerators, freezers, stoves...the avocado finish seemed to attract the most bass.  Every little cabin and house trailer along the river must have been populated by people that used it as a dump to get rid of their old appliances.  I kinda thought the big smallies lived on rats.

That's funny al. Stephen browning won the classic when it was on the arkansas river years and years ago. Folks who have seen that footage know that he was catching big fish when he would bang his crank bait into a washing machine on a big flat. What very few people know is that he put the washing machine there.

X2 on the avocado green. When whirlpool bought out Norge, they changed it to kind of what I would call a snow pea color and totally ruined it. If you can find a "Pre Whirpool" model Norge, you should hold on to it.

I don't think Browning ever won a classic.  He might have won an Open or even an Elite event on the Arkansas.

You're right jerry. My fault. I looked it up. It was a red man all American tournament. Far cry from the classic. My ex father in law is a good friend of his and that's how I heard the story and he showed me the old vhs tape. On the tape Stephen said someone else put the washer there but apparently that wasn't the case.
