Quillback Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 I was living in the Seattle area in 2001 when the Mariners won 116 games. But, they lost to the Yankees in 5 games in the ALCS.

joeD Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 March April May.June July Aug September. Baseball isn't even over yet. Hockey? Oh, that's over in June.
stlfisher Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 I am really looking forward to seeing Grichuk, Pham (super sub), Piscotty, Martinez, and Wacha mature. All a year older and huge upside. If Adams and or Moss rebound it could be another great year. Pitching and especially bullpen will be great again. Just need some more pop from the offense. It will be much more fun with the cubbies good again and the Cards always play better in the underdog role. Basschomper 1
Quillback Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Yep, I am also looking forward to some Cards/Cubs games. The pressure will be on the Cubs to perform as they are being touted as the best team in the NL.
Norm M Posted March 1, 2016 Author Posted March 1, 2016 if any Cards fans are thinking of following the team to Chicago, better try to get tickets now , they are selling fast . Definitely going to be an interesting year . Any word on how Yadi Molina is doing ? what a long strange trip it's been , put a dip in your hip, a glide in your stride and come on to the mother ship , the learning never ends
Basschomper Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 He caught his first bullpen session for Wainwright. But has yet to swing a bat. They did say is wearing a splint. They that opening day is still uncertain due mostly to batting
Norm M Posted March 1, 2016 Author Posted March 1, 2016 Thanks for the update . Anyone who thinks Yadi shouldn't be considered one of the best of our time with Bench and Pudge just hasn't been paying attention . what a long strange trip it's been , put a dip in your hip, a glide in your stride and come on to the mother ship , the learning never ends

But he is nowhere near the offensive player as those two. Heard an interesting debate on the radio about whether Yadi is a hall of famer or not. Offensively, no...but does 8+ gold gloves get you in? Cardinals fans undoubtedly will think so
