Macsimus Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Man, gotta take my hat off to you. We fished some of the same area yesterday, Little Cow to Indian's Pt, and struggled hard. I knew I was missing something. Know it for sure now. Way to catch 'em! "There was a time that I didn't fish, but I cannot remember it."
dan hufferd Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 I have a video releasing the fish this morning but it is to big to upload. Will try and figure it You will probably have to load it to youtube then post the link here. Very nice fish, what no coastline??

Macsimus, don't slit your wrists just yet. Donna and I fished the same water all day and also struggled. We did have six total and three good keeps including a 5-pound LM but nothing like Alex. Lol, Champ. No danger there. I had a good friend from MN along and at a minimum, I always feel blessed just to be on the water. magicwormman 1 "There was a time that I didn't fish, but I cannot remember it."
edyer Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Great Pics Alex. Looks like they bit the crankbait well even though it appears to be a calm day. I guess your crankbait was one of the usual suspects. Can't wait t get down there on Thursday.
Donna G Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Fished today and caught some really nice fish cranking. Had about 16 lbs this morning by 12. Went back out at 2 and caught 2 more smallmouth over 4 lbs plus a but load of other keepers. It was a memorable day. Water temps 51-56 from long creek marina to cow. Those are some beauties, Alex. Good job. We didn't catch as many yesterday, but I did have this one which was pretty nice. I wanted to have flames coming out of my ears, too, but they would have clashed with my War Eagle cap and bibs. Crank bait to be named after the tournament next week.
