Quillback Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 Fished it with my buddy Jeb, we had a tough day, 20 bass total with only 2 keepers. Just scattered fish again, some in coves, a few main channel fish, anywhere from 5 FOW out to 20 feet. Caught fish on c-rig, jig, wobble head, shaky head and maybe one or two Ned fish. Had one top water blow up on a walk the dog bait, nice explosion, except for the not grabbing the lure part. It was one of those days, we missed quite a few fish also, just not holding our mouths right or something. Still good to get out on a gorgeous day, water temps 56-60. Water seems to be clearing a bit. Muddy Water, cheesemaster, marcus and 1 other 4

Thats what i was wondering also Quill guess no one has a job..must either been a tournament today or they where pre fishing for this weekend bunch of boats with them sticks hanging on the back of the boats. also a bunch of them pontoon boats. Shell Knob boat ramp parking was almost full when i got there at 10 am and they had trucks and trailers parked up top when i came in at 3 pm. Jerry Rapp Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 you old retired folks are griping about people not working? Maybe they are also retired old folks? Or maybe the Elites pre-practicing for BS and Norfork next week? Or the lurkers here who are living off the government but can still afford to go fish on our tax dollars? It is a complex question. 15 years ago when I fished LOZ all the time, I wondered the same thing during the week at PB 2. 176champion, mixermarkb and Champ188 3
Members BearFisher10 Posted April 14, 2016 Members Posted April 14, 2016 All those Rangers with the poles are for the TBF National Championship. Today was the first day and it runs through Saturday. Saturday is the first day of their High School Championship as well. FLW provides the boats for that whole deal so that's why you're seeing all those boats that look the same. They're running out of Port of Kimberling this week. mixermarkb and 176champion 2
