jtram Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Didn't plan to fish today, but life gave me an opportunity . Had a bit of a tif with the boss man so I left before i got fired, quit, or hit someone. Ran home grabbed the beater rod and a box of small streamers and went to the closest flowing water. I hadnt fished where I did since I was a kid and it was fun (not to mention stress free and relaxing) I caught 20 or so mostly chub with a few assorted perch in about an hour of dodging snakes Have some sweet river pics but they wont upload JestersHK, Johnsfolly and dan hufferd 3

Johnsfolly Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 There's nothing better than I can think of than catching a bunch of fish after a bad day at work or at home. Especially if the trip was as uncomplicated as your trip. NIce photos. dan hufferd and jtram 2
dan hufferd Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 That is what it is all about. You mentioned snakes, last week I ran across a cottonmouth sunning, it was ready to shed, so it was defensive. Anyone floating should be extra careful where they place hands and feet. A poorly placed hand on a limb or log jam could make for a really bad float trip. After they shed they will probably see you 1st. I am sure everyone knows this. If you didn't now you do Johnsfolly 1
