Getting better every day...

Had the opportunity to once again share a boat with Huntest. Good fishing, good company.

Still eating the old reliable. Little color adjustment seems to be producing more and better fish. Virtually all on 1/8oz, cut Zinkerz. Bank to about 12'. That depends on whether you are in a cove, or closer to deep water. Bites were touchy again today, especially pre-wind. Lot of quality keepers, 16"-19". These brown fish are thick right now.

Biggest change was catching nice K's just off spawn places. Solid 16" spots.

dandy brownies.  i do have to giggle just a bit when viewing the tackle store full of rods.  why have all that out when you know all you are going to be doing is to throw the little guy?  i guess you have to get them out once in a while to knock off the moth ball smell, right?

Casting rods are a swimbait, wake bait, wacky worm. All of the spinning rods have a version of the little rig. Different weights, line, baits.
