dan hufferd Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 All though it may not be that big of a deal for many, it is for me. My goal was to fish Stockton Lake in each month of the year. Mission accomplished ! I also set a goal of at least one walleye in every month. I blew it on that goal, I could only manage to catch walleye in 9 of the 12 months, so I guess I still have some things to learn. I have never been able to fish like this, I am thankful and blessed ! God Bless all Mothers this weekend, with out you none of us would be here jtram, Big Keene, Johnsfolly and 3 others 6

Johnsfolly Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Dan. Good luck if you keep going after the walleye a month for twelve months goal. dan hufferd 1
Ham Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 I'd want to fish at least once a week for the entire year. dan hufferd 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

The flood, and the prespawn thing messed with me. I just could not figure it out. I have a plan for those 3 months next time around. It has been a great learning experience. I sure am thankful for your posts and instruction, as well as the others here on OAF. dprice 1

The cost to go to the lake is manageable as long as I don't boat around to much, but life steals my fishing time. A couple weeks ago I was 3 days post hernia surgery and my fishing buddy was 2 days post heart cath'. If you would have tied both of us together we would have only made half a man, but there we were hobbling around trying to catch fish. We made an agreement that we had to start staggering our operations, that way one can carry the other to and from the boat. crappie-hunter and Chief Grey Bear 2
Ham Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 I understand completely Dan. Life gets in the way of my fishing on a near daily basis. In my book, your creek/bank fishing trips do count. I WANT to fish at least once a week. I do not get to do so. Good for you on the walleye. You'll get there. I'm confident you'll catch one every month of the year soon. dan hufferd 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
