Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 4, 2016 Root Admin Posted June 4, 2016 The Corps site says we got 1 inch of rain this morning but I bet it was more like 3-4 inches. Between 7:30 and 9 am it poured here sending water over the banks in local creeks and ditches. Soon after it stopped, the upper lake was full of trash, trees and muddy water. Across the lake, water roared as it poured down the bluff--it was almost deafening. They have been running 1 unit all day so it's pushed most if not all the runoff out of our area but I bet the mid to lower lake will be messed up for days. People were still catching trout this afternoon though... I was pleasantly surprised.
ramman123 Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 was at Fisher branch and it was Toad Soaker for the First few hours on the Water.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 I had the pleasure of driving through it on my way home. Nearly a white out of rain on 65.
Travis Swift Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 I ran/idled etc all the way from below the landing to get into clearer water yesterday up in the trophy area. Dinged my prop up a little to but my oh my was it worth it. Had multiple fish from 16 to 19 inches on white jigs. One of the best days I've ever had up there actually. JestersHK 1
