Fished 530-11ish this morning. Temps around 80-83. Color is "yes". Fish are still available from the bank to about 17-18'. Mix of all three. We caught them pretty hard on a combo of the little guy and a full size zinkerz on a shakey head. Definitely better to be around a sharp drop, 10' into 12' or 15' for example. Wood was almost automatic.

Original Net Monkey suckered me this morning. She just went to town on them with that shakey head, including an 18" brownie and several other keepers.

Finished a meanie short of the full keeper slam. Saw some fish with craws in them for the first time. Have to think that bodes well for the rest of the week. That brown fish had two big craws in it, and someone else's Ned, a TRD in the same color we were throwing, rigged on a Zman head. Obvious break off. She hacked up the Ned and one of the craws in the boat.

Dave, drink in every minute you get with her in the boat. One morning she's gonna sit down at the breakfast table and blurt out, "Dad, I have a boyfriend." And yes, the twinge of nausea you just felt while reading those words will be 10 times worse. Unfortunately, there's not a darn thing you can do to ward it off or stop it. It's just part of the process. I've already been there. You'll survive.
