I typically use darker colors but remember you are after a pea brained fish with a one track mind. They will feed opportunistically at night on anything that swims past their face. Hard to beat a 10" worm in purple, plum or black/red at night.

jolicious Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 I have found that red works great all year round, all times of day - It just can't be beat. Champ188, big c and eyedabassman 3
dblades Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 If you think color doesn't matter at night you're kidding yourself. I've had nights were they would only hit ONE color, and it wasn't black, blue, purple, or pbj.

Also remember that these pea brained fish hold the rule book to your success, and can change the rules any time they see fit - without a reason or notification. In general, I believe the darker colors are better at night.
