Good old salt craw will catch them at night too. Ned never stops catching them, just have to keep an open mind.

A 12" worm might be a bit much, especially during a period where there is a ton of boat traffic pounding them all day. Might bite it down to 9" or so, so it is thick with a lot of ribbon.

I hate biting down worms like Powerbait or Big Bites or anything impregnated with garlic, fish oil, or some other nasty flavor. I almost always have to chase it with a beer or two to get that nasty taste out of my mouth. Good idea to shorten up the worm, but I'd use a knife/scissors instead. Cheers!

I was out on table rock in the long creek area a few years ago on Memorial Day weekend mid day and I was in heaven, couldn't believe how "calm" it was compared to any average summer weekend on LOZ.

Rental boats are supposed to stay between 86 bridge and Kimberling City Bridge.  At least the ones form Indian Point Marina, State Park Marina and Still Waters.  So if you go past those you can have relatively peaceful water.

Well went out at about 7am after the rain stopped didn't catch much mostly perch on Ned rig. Stayed pretty close to Indian point.,. Got busy around 11 so off the water for the day

That will be your pattern unless you change the times. When I used to vacation down lake, I fished a twin spin with a trailer like a jig after dark with moderate to good success.
