Huzzah bass on the fly

Spent a few hours on the huzzah today.  Had to try out a new to me vintage fly rod. Bite was good. Swinging leeches in crayfish and olive pine squirrel leeches that I tied pistol Pete style. I called it a squirrely whirly. HAHA!!!  Caught a few on frog and deerhair poppers. Fun trip!

Those are some nice chunky fish. Congrats. Looks like you got bass dialed in as well as trout on the fly. Thsnks for the post.
