oneshot Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 Ok I have few hundred Worms that is what I've been using for Redhorse Suckers. I'm wondering is there a better Bait? Will they bite better on Carp Bait or do they like Meat better? oneshot
MOPanfisher Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 Oneshot, red worms is all I have ever tried, they might bight on a carp type bait, but doubt they would on a meaty bait.

Well I'm considering Worms Meat. I think Buffalo prefer Worms and Chicken Liver over Dough Bait but have caught them on all. Hey I might as well use the Worms because I'm going after Redhorse or Channel Catfish and I know they both bite on them. oneshot
Ham Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 I think most people use steel points, but I would use worms. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
MOPanfisher Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 If your area got the rain we did this Monongahela it should trigger the suckers to feed, and with a little muddy water coming in, them worms should be solid gold for suckers or cats both.
oneshot Posted August 1, 2016 Author Posted August 1, 2016 There is a riffle I can fish below which should be good any time. oneshot
MOPanfisher Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Little red worms, preferably from underneath some dried cow pies along the creek was always my best bait.
