Dang, Vernon. That is one fine-looking fishing machine. Dallas Cowgirls colors, too. Can't beat that!

I fixed that for ya Champ...:P

Very nice looking rig there Vernon!!

I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything!

Thanks!  It definitely is Cowboys silver and blue. The closest it comes to any of my teams might be the Royals but even that's a stretch. Guess I'll have to like it just for being my boat but that's OK!

I'd leave it to you in the will but remember I'm being buried in it!

Great looking boat Vernon!  Although I'd rather you wrap it with a giant Jayhawk before claiming it's cowboy colors. And that's coming from a Wildcat...

Ahh, I just didn't want to hurt Champ's feelings. You know how sensitive he is.

However, I do appreciate a Wildcat that's so diplomatic!  If it helps any my previous boat was Chiefs red, white and gold.

By the way, I sincerely apologize to the OP for distracting from the intent and seriousness of this thread. I didn't set out to make it about me and I'm sorry if that's how it looks. It's too hot to fish and too hot for golf so I guess I've just got too much time on my hands. Again, apologies.

Yes. Thanks to LD and many others. With almost 2k views, I'm confident this will make a difference to someone that may not otherwise have made it home from a day on the lake doing what we all enjoy.

It can never be too hot for golf. Donna and I played in a couples tournament in August 2000 on the hottest day ever on record in Hot Springs (Arkansas). It was 112 that day --- actual temp, not heat index --- and our tee time was 2 p.m. She will back that up.
