It can never be too hot for golf. Donna and I played in a couples tournament in August 2000 on the hottest day ever on record in Hot Springs (Arkansas). It was 112 that day --- actual temp, not heat index --- and our tee time was 2 p.m. She will back that up.

Dang, y'all Hogs is tough!  We played here Tuesday and Wednesday and the temp was around 99 with a heat index of 115 both days.  Yesterday was forecast to hit 101 so we took a day off since it's supposed to be in the mid 80's for the next week or so.  Of course, when the temperature drops a bit this time of the year the dew point usually rises and it's still pretty miserable.

Hottest I can remember playing was back in the late 80's, early 90's at Murray State's golf course over by Kentucky Lake.  Seems like it was like 108 or 109 that day and not a cloud in the sky.  Of course I was  a whole lot younger than too!

Now days it's more like Mr. Babler has occasionally stated so eloquently, "I just wasn't that mad at em'."

That's too hot for me. I'm gonna play with you and Donna when it cools down a bit. My dang hands sweat too darn much to grip a club.
