Members jackdizo Posted September 17, 2016 Members Posted September 17, 2016 Got out to one of my favorite creeks yesterday evening. Water was lower then expected and gin clear. This made it very easy to find fish and they were eager to eat. Got into 10 - 12 smallmouth in the 12 - 14 inch range, a few large goggle-eye, and a couple smaller black bass. The creek was in great shape which I was glad to see. Waded downstream to a larger hole with very little current and managed a new personal best for this creek, as well as my best smallmouth of this year! Fish was released healthy and hopefully will be caught another day. A few pics for your viewing pleasure. Cheers, Jack. BilletHead, Flysmallie, Eric82 and 11 others 14

Seth Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 I'm jealous. The Gasconade was rolling mud today......
timinmo Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Great fish and great pictures. My creeks are rolling also.
Members DownStream Posted September 18, 2016 Members Posted September 18, 2016 Thanks for the report. I looked at the gauges last night and decided to stay home today. Those are some nice smallmouth and photos. What kind of camera did you take those with?
Members jackdizo Posted September 19, 2016 Author Members Posted September 19, 2016 @DownStream I just take the photos with my iPhone and then fix them up a little with some editing software on my phone... Been thinking about getting a good camera that can take some nice macro shots...
