Marine Radio Emergency Channel

I too have a Uniden  marine radio on my boat and used to have it turned on. I have never heard a peep out of it even though I was monitoring channel 16. Don't use it anymore.  Called out for a radio check and nobody was home!

So if nobody answered how do you know if it worked?  Just busting your chops!

Such good points !  Well at least it is a darn good weather radio and the batteries last a long time.

It works fine on lakes and rivers that monitor.
