10/8/16 walleye, and..../ link added

I got a walleye in the boat for October, this was the first one for the day. I ended up with 3 keeper walleye from 15 1/2 to just shy of 18",  5 nice white bass, and 2 crappie, this was my take for the day. I was glad to get a day on the water.

Good job Dan. I was out on the 8th for a bit as well, and didn't fair as well as you. I trolled crank baits on lead, had a mixed bag of fish, but no walleye. Did happen on Mr. and Mrs. lmt out on the lake. Was nice to chat with them again.

Congrats Dan! So with an Oct walleye how many consecutive months do you have towards your goal 7, 8 ....? Keep it up buddy. You still fishing spoons?

Spoons and bouncers are doing it. I think that I have walleye catch video back to April. January, February, and March were tough for me. 

If I make my goal I hope to compile a one year walleye video. We will see how it goes !

Dan, thanks for the link update. Always informative. Been here a couple of days and so far the wind has kept us from fishing our usual places. Think the wind is settling down but now the chance of rain is picking up. Oh well, we'll make the best of it.
