Anybody still fly fishing the White?

I notice a lot of jig fishing posts on here lately. Are any of you guys fly fishing the river since the minimum flow went into effect? I know I'm not.

I'm headed down today.  I've been fishing it about a once a year since the min flow debacle was enacted.

Honestly I've never hit it at dead low min flow since they rarely turn it off anymore.

I don't think I've ever been to the White River where I haven't seen at least two or three guides out with clients fly fishing.

I only get down to the White 6-8 days a year. Any success I have is usually the result of whatever the conditions are at the time. If the sun is shining I'm catching stubby finned Bows, if it's cloudy I have a chance for quality browns. I have no desire to get into a debate about MF but I'll never forget the countless days of bath water as far up as Wildcat.

I haven't seen minimum flow on either the White or Norfork in the last 3 weeks (at least during daylight hours). They are running a minimum of 35mw on the White and 18 on the Norfork. That's just enough to mess up wade fishing.

When they actually run minimum flow the fly fishing is great.

Zebra midges, Sunday special scuds and egg patterns will work on both the White and Norfork. That's about all I use.

A pink or grey scud about 8" above a small flash back pheasant tail worked real good last Monday and Tuesday.

Water off on the Norfork and I fished Thursday to Saturday. Min flow on the Norfork is hardly noticeable.  Low O2 so I didn't take it out of the water.
